Our Story
Built on Trust. Finished with Pride.
We started as Nonstop Contracting. We evolved into St. Louis's most trusted basement specialists. Here's why.
From General Contracting to Basement Specialists
Nonstop Basements didn't start as a basement company. We started as Nonstop Contracting — a full-service general contracting firm serving the Greater St. Louis area. We did kitchens, additions, decks, and everything in between.
But over time, we noticed something: basement projects were where we consistently delivered our best work — and where homeowners were most underserved. Too many contractors treated basements as an afterthought. We treated them as an opportunity.
So we made a decision. We narrowed our focus, deepened our expertise, and rebranded as Nonstop Basements. Today, every person on our team is a basement specialist. Every process we've built is optimized for below-grade construction. And every project we take on gets our full attention.

What We Stand For
How We Work
Specialization
We do one thing. That focus means faster timelines, fewer surprises, and a finished product that reflects years of refined expertise — not a generalist's best guess.
Transparency
You'll know exactly what you're getting and what it costs before we break ground. No change orders for things we should have caught. No surprises at the end.
Craftsmanship
We're not a volume shop. We take on projects we can do right, and we build them to last. The details matter — from the framing to the final coat of paint.
Communication
You'll always know where your project stands. We show up when we say we will, we answer our phones, and we treat your home with the same respect we'd want for our own.
